The day will feature many crochet related activities and opportunities for Sheffield’s growing community of crochet and yarn enthusiasts, includes 7 talks and 7 workshops!

Buxton Wool Gathering is a wool festival for yarn lovers and crafters, based at Buxton Pavilion Gardens in the Peak District. We’re a new sister event to Bakewell Wool Gathering and ran for the first time in May 2019. We’ll be returning in May 2020. Buxton is the ideal location for a woolly event, in the centre of England and easily accessed from across the Midlands, North-West, North Wales and Yorkshire. It also has excellent public transport links, especially from the Manchester area.
Leeds Wool Festival returns to Armley for a 7th year with live demonstrations, craft markets, expert talks, alpaca petting and loads more! The Darling Roses will be hosting their much loved pop-up tea room and out back there’s the Gin Palace if you fancy putting your feet-up after a busy day of wool, crochet and crafts!

The Wool Monty is a different kind of yarn show: ACCESSIBLE. INCLUSIVE. WELCOMING. After having an amazing time in June 2019 we’re so so pleased to say we’ll be bringing The Wool Monty back to Sheffield Arena in June 2020! We’re committed to hosting a yarn show with a difference, that everyone can attend and enjoy.

Art in the Gardens is an annual event in a beautiful venue. Sheffield Botanical Gardens are transformed into an art and craft village, where you can wander round and enjoy (and purchase) all the fine exhibits on display. The whole family can enjoy a day out as there are fun activities to encourage children to enjoy ‘art and the environment’ There are over 350 artists and crafts’ workers exhibiting more than 4,000 pieces of work. The weekend the event is expected to attract around 10,000 visitors

The Fox Valley Craft Market runs on the first Sunday, following the first Saturday of every month, from 10am - 3pm on the central walkway, within Fox Valley Shopping Centre. There will typically 10-20 stalls, with more joining us throughout the summer and for special events. There are a variety of different stalls on offer, including a host of handmade furniture, jewellery, childrens clothes, as well as home baked treats and other hand made gifts.
